I've watched you grow, and seen you play. I was anything you wanted me to be even your imaginary friend. I guided you and made sure you were kept safe. But the older you got the less visible I became. I then became only the breeze that carressed your cheek when you were sad. Or the occasional comforting invisible hand. But then you forgot about me and that's when I fell into your hand. And for that brief moment you remembered who I am . I now feel my light begin to fade as tears stream across both our face. You say you are sorry for forsaking me, and that you will do what you can to make my light last. But I just smile and look at you with such joy in my heart. For you see my lovely charge it is my fate, to die when you are grown. For it shows that my job was complete I had safely guarded you to meet your Great Destiny.
