Years later Kaiya had grown up to be strong warrior. But her heart is clouded with doubt as to her destiny of guarding the Lunarian Princess Usagi. She knew the stories her mother told her were true, how Queen Serenity unjustly exiled her mother from the man she loved. She knew that if Queen Serenity hadn't exiled her mother she wouldn't be in her poor state of health that she is in today. Her mother's health has been slowly getting worse ever since they were attacked in the Lunar Temple when Kaiya was a child. Kaiya wore her hair in odango fashion to mock the Moon Family. She knew she had no choice but to serve but she would be damned if she did as a slave to the Moon Family.




Kaiya was walking along the river when Ejij happened upon her. He took this moment to look at her without her knowing. He loved Kaiya with all his heart. But to her he didn't show it. He was her teacher in combat and her friend. But he never showed interest in her, keeping his feelings to himself. But he told himself one day He would tell her, ..well after it stopped being so much fun being an asshole to her that is.

But this was not a moment to be joyous, he bore bad news that Kaiya's mother had passed, her frail health had finally failed her. Kaiya turned to look at him and already knew. She burst into tears and fell to the ground. Eiji went to her and just held her. Eiji looked up at the sky and couldn't believe his eyes. On the Moon, it looked light a battle was raging. Kaiya and Eiji heard the war bells ringing. Eiji looked at Kaiya and told her she knew what she had to do. Kaiya stared back at him with rage in her eyes. She demanded why should she help them when her mother has died because of them. Eiji looked at her and an argument commenced. It ened with Eiji walking away to battle leaving Kaiya staring at his back.


Kaiya stayed their for awhile Eiji's words slowly seeping in. She slowly realized he was right. She transformed and ran towards the fight. But Kaiya got there too late and she was outnumbered. Kaiya did not go down without a fight. Her body was put to the test, but she was eventually brought down.

Eiji wish he could take back those harsh words to Kaiya. Those words he said, "Coward, You should know better, I wasted my time training you", God how much of an ass could he be to her. He only hoped that she had survived the war and was somewhere within a care facility. It was three days later he came across a town completely decimated. He saw corspes all over the grown. And then he saw something that made his heart stop cold. He saw a familiar head with raven black hair lying against the wall of a house. He ran towards her hoping what he wasn't real. He kneeled down and looked down at her face. He knew it was her, her body mangled from the fight blood crusting her skin. Her compact about to break and her body covered by pale blue ribbons. He places her into a blue cloak and lifted her up. He then made a vow that he would wait centuries for her soul to be reborn and tell her how much he loves her.....
